Conversion of the MKSA Units to the MKS Units

[edit]

The International System of Units (SI) is a composite system that includes, in particular, the MKS system of mechanical units and MKSA system of electromagnetic units. In 2018, an article was published showing that the electromagnetic units of the MKSA (the ampere, coulomb, ohm, volt, etc.) can be converted using the base units of the MKS: metre, kilogram, second.

A. Abdukadyrov, «Progress of the SI and CGS Systems: Conversion of the MKSA Units to the MKS and CGS Units», American Journal of Electromagnetics and Applications, vol. 6(1), 24–27 (2018) doi:10.11648/j.ajea.20180601.14
